Meet THE AIR SLATE: Your Advocate for Equitable Education in Eastpointe

bring a passionate commitment to fostering an educational environment that is equitable, inclusive, and empowering for every student across Eastpointe and South Warren, Michigan. The AIR Slate builds upon strong community building and board governance, as well as understands the unique challenges and opportunities within our school district.
The ACE Platform focuses on strengthening the foundation set by our forebears, dating back to 1872 in our historic schoolhouse, Erin/Warren Fractional # 2. These indispensable areas serve as the community's building blocks for a brighter future for all of Eastpointe: Academics, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and Extracurriculars. We have to achieve in the three R's, offer pathways to adulthood beyond our hallowed halls, and extend enriching experiences like sports and leadership opportunities beyond the classroom.
Bridging values with pragmatic policies, the AIR Slate aims to enhance academic achievement and digital literacy, preparing students for success in today's complex and evolving world.
Why It Matters: In a diverse community like Eastpointe and South Warren, every child should be provided with the tools, space, and encouragement to grow their own way. The AIR Slate's vision ensures all students receive the support and opportunities they deserve, building a foundation for lifelong success and Family Town pride. Once a Shamrock, Always a Winner!

Living in a diverse community like Eastpointe, we witness firsthand the power of education to transform the lives of our students. Schools are more than places of learning—they are the heart of our Family Town. The AIR Slate is deeply committed to making sure that every student, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to the resources, leadership opportunities, and support they need to thrive within and outside of our buildings. The opportunity to serve on the school board is an honor and privilege we don't take lightly. We are eager to practice prudent governance, ensure fiscal responsibility, and support administration in providing programs that prepare our young people for a future full of endless possibilities.
Education is a collaborative journey—students, parents, educators, and community members all have a vital role to play in Eastpointe Community Schools. We invite you to join us in this mission. Together, we will build a school district and community that reflect the values and potential of all Eastpointe families.
